This course is designed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills with the latest frameworks for promoting Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in classrooms. It highlights strategies to boost both personal and collective emotional intelligence as a means to improve well-being and performance.
Participants will explore various strategies and tools to assess students’ social and emotional competencies across different learning environments, utilising the “Big Five Domains” framework. This approach aims to develop learners’ critical thinking, metacognition, and self-efficacy.
After completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Foster knowledge, skills, and attitudes across the Big Five Domains.
- Use practices and strategies to support learners’ social, emotional and academic development.
- Design lesson plans that promote learners’ Social and Emotional Learning.
