Creativity in the Classroom

This course is a multi-workshop series for all teachers in RAK that aims to familiarize teachers with processes they can use to keep a classroom organized, lessons running smoothly, and students engaged. The focus is mainly on how a teacher works, how the class works, how the teacher and students work together, and how teaching and learning happen. Another aim of the course is to introduce a variety of teaching strategies that enhance the process of teaching and learning and help students take more responsibility for their own learning. The key is to help participants create learning environments that are more interactive, to integrate technology where applicable into the learning experience, and to use collaborative learning strategies when appropriate.
