This five-week course is designed to empower teachers with the knowledge and skills to conduct action research within their classrooms. Participants will explore the process of identifying a problem, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing changes to improve teaching and learning outcomes. The training combines theory with hands-on application, enabling teachers to use evidence-based strategies for continuous improvement. After completing this course, participants should be able to:
- Understand the fundamental concepts and stages of action research.
- Identify and define a classroom problem or area for improvement.
- Design an action research plan including data collection and analysis methods.
- Reflect on findings and develop strategies for sustaining improvement.

This training is designed for K–12 educators, department heads, instructional leaders, and school administrators who wish to enhance their teaching effectiveness through reflective and data-informed practices. University students at the College of Education could also largely benefit from this course. Participants will benefit by developing the skills to identify classroom issues, design research questions, analyze results, and apply findings to improve instruction and student engagement.
