Creating Animated Video Teaching Resources

Animated videos have taken root with the advancement of technology, therefore, educators need to use simple but effective sketch videos, images, cartoons, etc. as part of their teaching process. When learners get knowledge through fun activities, the learning process becomes even more useful.

This six-week course supports the use of technology in teaching and learning and explores various educational materials that stimulate and motivate students. It helps teachers deliver educational material in enjoyable, easily understandable ways and through various media such as sound, pictures and movement which increase student engagement with content that is presented innovatively.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

• Demonstrate understanding and apply their knowledge of Animaker and also create a basic cartoon movie
• Add animations and sound to contents of their movie
• Create infographic designs and add effects between scenes
• Write a script with animated film designs and produce an educational film

Eligibility
All educators and administrative staff in Ras Al Khaimah schools are eligible.
