Teaching the 21st Century Way

This 6-week course ‘TEACHING THE 21ST CENTURY WAY’ will fully prepare all teachers according to the UAE school inspection framework focusing on teaching in the classroom.

• Differentiation
• Special needs(SEN)/IEP(Individual Education Plans)
• Modification of tasks and exams for SEN
• Adaptation of textbooks to cater for all learning styles
• 21st century skills(communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity)

Because teachers usually have a problem with embedding all the elements above in one lesson, the 6-week course will be very practical which will give participants an opportunity to design and teach lessons the 21st century way.

Each group will present their lessons while other participants observe and give a rating.

Each group will then have an opportunity to give feedback based on their presentations.

Teachers will also have an opportunity to share best practices from their schools.
