Integrating Artificial Intelligence for a Reimagined English Classroom

This five-week course is largely designed to accommodate a post Covid-19 blended and /in person language classroom, with an active aid of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and techniques for personalized and inclusive learning environment. Educators will incorporate the various nuances of AI and machine learning for data analysis, progress checkers ,differentiation, inclusion, collaboration and feedback to facilitate both an in-person and online language classroom context.

This course will scaffold the matrix of accurate productive progress of students, especially students who are at different LSWR language competencies. It is designed for educators who are non-programmers, yet vital in incorporating data for a less prosaic AI language learning. The course will enable educators to confer technologies as an active agent to resolve some of the emerging problems such as organizing data in a way that benefits all stakeholders- the school, the family and most importantly the language learner.

After completing this course, participants should be able to:

  • Conduct a needs analysis neural networks for AI Artificial intelligence, IA – intelligence augmentation and EI-Emotional intelligence
  • Personalize learning courses with a gamification strategy-for beginners
  • Apply advance Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) for semantic analysis and data extraction
  • Apply “empathy” whilst integrating AI and curriculum needs

Eligibility
All English language educators in Ras Al Khaimah schools are eligible.
